Recently nominated for best history museum in the United States by USA Today, Mill City Museum is a Minneapolis monument that has doubled as an extravagant and unique event venue.

 

In 1880, Washburn A Mill was built and quickly assisted Mill District to become the most advanced and leading producers of flour in the world. Having created some of the most recognizable names in this industry including, Gold Medal Flour and Betty Crocker, Washburn A Mill closed in 1965. Mill City Museum did not open until 2003, twenty years after being named a National Historic Landmark.

 

 

 

 

D’Amico Hospitality jumped at the opportunity to be Mill City Museum’s original exclusive caterer as well as managing the event spaces. Throughout the years, D’Amico Hospitality and Mill City Museum have collaborated to create some extraordinary and memorable events. In 2014, when the Major League Baseball All-Star Game was being played in Minneapolis, Mill City Museum hosted 4,500 people for the MLB All-Star Gala.
